Secure The Garden!

Every summer, CGI Poconos becomes a Gan, a garden of joy, growth, laughter, and Jewish pride. Girls arrive to unplug, feel safe, and be fully themselves. It is a space parents trust and a responsibility we hold sacred.

In today’s reality, that sense of safety cannot be taken for granted. Jewish institutions, including camps, face increased security needs, and professional protection is no longer optional.

CGI Poconos has been awarded a Pennsylvania State Security Grant to strengthen safety across our camp. To access the full funding, we must raise $75,000. When we do, the State of Pennsylvania will contribute an additional $150,000, creating a $225,000 total investment in camp security.

Every dollar you give is matched 2-to-1.

This is a rare, time-sensitive opportunity to multiply your impact and protect the place where our girls grow.

Perimeter Fencing

A secure camp begins with clear boundaries and controlled access. This initiative supports expanded perimeter fencing and improved access control across our 83-acre campus, helping ensure that camp remains a protected and well-monitored environment without compromising its warmth or openness.

24/7 Armed Security

During the camp session, a visible and professional security presence is essential. Your support helps fund professionally trained armed security personnel on campus, allowing staff to focus on chinuch and care, and giving families confidence that their children are being protected responsibly.

Camera Systems

Effective security requires reliable visibility. This effort supports a comprehensive upgrade to our campus-wide camera system, expanding coverage and improving monitoring so that activity across camp can be observed clearly and consistently as part of a layered security approach.
